How to Watch Apple’s WWDC 2022 Event

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) for 2022 is fast approaching. At WWDC, Apple showcases the biggest upcoming changes for its major software platforms, including iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.

Here’s how to watch Apple’s WWDC 2022 event live when it airs on June 6, 2022.

How to Watch WWDC 2022 Live

As with previous major Apple events, WWDC 2022 will stream live on YouTube and on the official WWDC 2022 events page. You can also watch the event live on your Apple TV or in the Apple TV app.

Apple will hold WWDC 2022 from June 6 to June 10. Unlike WWDC 2020 and 2021, WWDC 2022 will not be an online-only event. This time around, Apple has also set aside June 6 as a special day, giving a limited number of developers and students a chance to “watch the keynote and State of the Union videos together, along with the online community” at Apple Park.

Apple will provide details on how to join the live experience at Apple Park on its WWDC 2022 events page. But since not everyone will make it to Apple Park, you can watch the event live from wherever you are via different channels.

What We’re Expecting From WWDC 2022

As the name suggests, WWDC is usually targeted at developers to help them prepare for what’s coming in the next major software updates from Apple. Still, it also provides an opportunity for the rest of us to know what we should see soon.

For instance, WWDC 2021 saw Apple announce iPadOS 15 with Home Screen widgets and App Library, among other features. In case you missed it last year, here are all the major announcements Apple made at WWDC 2021.

Don’t Miss Apple’s WWDC 2022 Event

Like previous events, Apple’s WWDC 2022 event is expected to showcase all the new features coming in Apple’s subsequent major software updates. That covers everything from iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, and macOS.

While these features don’t go live immediately after the announcement, it’s an excellent way to know what to expect. And, who knows, Apple might throw in other surprise announcements.
